A 3-month old puppy was found by a child covered with tar all over his body. The puppy can’t even walk, his movements are minimal due to the sticky tar. The rescuers of the ANIMAL AID UNLIMITED were shocked to see the dog, they need to save him while there’s still time. Tar is a dark brown to black thick liquid with a strong odor. It can easily irritate the eyes upon contact. Skin irritation can cause rash and a burning sensation which can be aggravated by sunlight. Tar can also cause pain in the nose, throat and lungs when inhaled.
To remove the tar, a rigorous process should be done. They massage vegetable oil all throughout the puppy’s body. Afterwards, they clean him with soap and water. It took them 4 oil and bath process to make the puppy free from tar!
In the end, the puppy was trotting happily. He was able to run and wiggle his tail. What these heroes have done were truly amazing.! Others would have left the puppy alone, dying. But, these people have huge hearts to give this small puppy their helping hand. Salute to all of them! Everything they did, was worth it!
