Jhong Hilario leaves It's Showtime?! Watch here why!

Jhong Hilario, also known as Sample King of the show It's Showtime, announced his farewell on the show last March 23, 2015. He gave his short message during the portion of Tawag ng Tanghalan segment in which he said the words: "Last day ko na ngayon, Mami-miss ko kayo. Gusto kong magpasalamat (sa inyong lahat). Direk Bobet (Vidanes), thank you po sa lahat."

He didn't reveal the reason for his departure on the show but on the previous reports, he has stated that he is running for councilor in Makati City on the upcoming May 2016 Elections for the United Nationalist Alliance or UNA.

Jhong hilario wasn't the first one to leave the show, he was the third to be exact. The first one was Coleen Garcia, who is currently focusing on her acting career and has an upcoming movie with Piolo Pascual and Dawn Zuleta. The second one was Eric 'Eruption' Tai, who joined the Philippine National Rugby Team.
