Just this December 29, 2015, a Facebook user named Erica Joy Guico Bravo posted and shared a video of a man that hostaged a young boy inside of Chowking Maingate in Angeles City Pampanga, Philippines.
In the said post on Facebook, Ms. Erica said that the man wanted to stab the kid's eye out while using a fork. She went angry to furious as she learned that the young kid was her friend's little brother.

When they were supposed to start eating, they noticed the commotion inside the food establishment, the customers where running out away from the food establishment.
Looks like from the police report, the boy got to escape after the hostage-taker got shot in the shoulder by Senior Inspector Dante Cabungcal. The young boy sustained wounds near one of the eyes and was brought to Angeles University Foundation Medical Center for medical treatment.
The motive for the said hostage-taking was never revealed as the hostage-taker, Jonhon Roncales died while he was on the way to the hospital.
