Is A Duterte-Marcos Tandem Happening?

Duterte and Marcos possible teaming up for 2016 national elections

Choosing a correct leader is arguably the most critical step when aiming for a sustainable economy and industrialization of a country. After all, the leader would be representing the whole nation.

He would make decisions for the common folk in every aspect that would make his country prosper.

And as the 2016 National elections is fast approaching, different names of aspiring presidents are already making rounds in public. Some have already made their intentions clear such as Vice President Binay and senators Mar Roxas and Grace Poe.

But two popular names that have been long undecided for the upcoming elections appear to be giving the public a heads up.

Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte and Senator BongBong Marcos are possibly teaming up for the two highest positions in the government as they met last Wednesday night, September 30, in a hotel in Davao.

“Me? The deadline [for the filing of presidential bid] is October 16 anyway. I might run for … mayor again. I might run for senator. I might run for … you mention it for me,” Duterte teased.

But what about Senator Bongbong?

“If I say yes, it automatically means (points at Senator Marcos).” Mayor Duterte added that he will “Get in touch” with the said senator.
